She hadn’t meant to ask. In fact, she was rather
set on leaving the subject well enough alone. But, truthfully,
the ‘random’ comment from a boy at school has been eating
away at her for some weeks now ; being back at home has
allowed her to almost forget, but, she must know. Hopefully
her mother will settle the matter once and for all.
